The Adkinson Wedding

We recently had the pleasure of designing flowers for Jessika and Riley's wedding held at The Reserve in Longview, Texas. The bride chose callas and hydrangeas for her bridal bouquet and all the centerpieces had a mixture of white hydrangeas, roses, alstomeria, blue stream, and greenery.
We also enjoyed working with Lynn from Iron Inspired rentals while we were setting up the reception area. All of the beautiful iron candle stands and trees were rented from her. We always like working with the ornamental pieces that Lynn has.

Thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day! We wish you many years of happiness together!

Kate and Kyle's Wedding

We had the honor of designing flowers for Kate and Kyle's Wedding recently. The bride chose white hydrangeas to dominate her wedding flowers.
Kate's Bouquet was created with white hydrangea, peonies, callas, and roses.
The pews at First Baptist Church were lined with jumbo white hydrangeas, tulle, and taupe ribbon.
The candelabras had arrangements of hydrangeas, roses, callas, and green ball trick.

Assorted sizes of glass vases holding river rock, hydrangeas, curly willow, and bear grass were placed in the church foyer and were used as centerpieces for the outdoor reception.

Thank you Kate, Kyle, and Your Families for letting Bowden Floral be a part of your wedding day! We hope you have many years of happiness together!

James and Sarah's Wedding

We had the pleasure of designing flowers for James and Sarah's Wedding at the Landon Winery in Greenville recently.
The bride carried a bouquet of white hydrangeas, callas, Queen Ann's lace, and coral roses and hypericum berries.

Five tables at the reception held clusters of glass bottles and vases with an assortment of wild flowers.

Fruit jars were used to hold candles with a quart fruit jar of gerberas, roses, and larkspur on some of the tables.
Shepherd hooks lined the aisle holding fruit jars of flowers. A piece of burlap material was tied around each jar.

The groom's children were included in the wedding, with Keaton carrying a bouquet similar to the brides and Tyson wearing a calla boutonniere like his dad.

We wish you many years of happiness together! Thank you for letting us be a part of your special day!

The English Wedding

We had the pleasure of designing flowers for Tori and Colby's wedding this weekend at Flying Feather Ranch outside of Gilmer.

The bride chose an all white bouquet with hydrangeas, roses, orchids, feather, diamonds, and pearls.
To tie the bouquet in with the rustic outdoor setting, we wrapped the bride's bouquet with burlap and completed it with a lace braid.
The rest of the wedding flowers were vibrant summer colors. The bridesmaids carried bouquets of orange roses, strawflower, asters, daisies, thistle, blue stream, and feathers, accented with diamonds, pearls, and burlap.
Boutonniere's were made with wispy feathers, strawflowers, buttons, blue stream, and eucalyptus, tied with burlap material.

The outdoor ceremony was held at the waters edge, with a beautiful fountain of water in the background.
The arch was draped in burlap and covered with a colorful assortment of flowers in the bride's chosen colors.
Two candle stands flanked each side of the arch with a bouquet of cascading flowers.

Congratulations to Tori and Colby! Thank you for letting us be a part of your wedding day. We wish you many years of happiness together.

Wedding at The Belgium House

We recently had the pleasure of designing wedding flowers for Tawny's wedding at The Belgium House in Longview, Texas.
The gazebo was the focal point for the wedding ceremony. We draped white tulle and accented the gazebo with hot pink roses, orange gerbera daisies, boronia, and assorted greenery.

The hand tied bride's bouquet was made of hot pink roses accented with rhinestones and orange gerberas.
The corsages and bouts were made with hot pink roses and orange wax flower, with silver ribbon, pearls, and leaves completing each item.
Hot pink aster flower balls on shepherd hooks greeted guests as they walked down the isle to be seated.
It was a beautiful day and a pleasure to design this wedding at The Belgium House.

The Donaho Wedding

We had the pleasure of designing flowers for the Donaho wedding this weekend. The wedding colors were green and plum and the setting was the families rural farm. The wedding had a very vintage feel to it.
A vintage chicken feeder was filled with flowers and candles.

A metal pail set on a side table.
The Bride's Bouquet consisted of white callas, white roses, green trick, Queen Anne's lace, wax flower, bear grass, and honey bracelet.  The stems of the hand tied bouquet were wrapped with burlap material.
The Bridesmaid's Bouquets were made with white roses, green fujis, green buttons, wax flower, Queen Anne's Lace, bear grass, and honey bracelet.

We decorated this wagon with burlap material for the small children to be pulled in. We had originally covered the wagon with glitzy material for the Yamboree pageant and converted it to have a vintage theme.

Plum and green flowers accented the top of the carriage.
Old cracker tins, milk jugs, and containers were used for centerpieces throughout the reception.
This old well bucket contained a bouquet of hydrangeas, amaranthus, buttons, fujis, and wax flower.

The tire swing was the centerpiece of the wedding ceremony. A large arrangement of ornamental kale, hydrangeas, fujis, alstromeria, Bells of Ireland, Queen Anne's Lace, wax flower, green wheat accented the tire.

Green cymbidium orchids with burlap puffs were used for the corsages.
The boutonnieres consisted of green hypericum, buttons, wheat, and tree fern. Burlap was used on the stem wrap.
The setting for the wedding was beautiful!
We enjoyed being a part of Justin and Brianne's wedding day and wish them many years of happiness together!
